You have more control than you might imagine.
Are you looking for:
- Someone to motivate, challenge, inspire, celebrate or build relationships within your team?
- Effective, research-based strategies to improve team and individual wellbeing quickly and at no cost?
- Strategies for optimising the recruitment and retention of dedicated and effective colleagues?
- Tools for managing workload?
- Ways of identifying, motivating and inspiring future leaders?
I deliver training to support teams to develop strategies to optimise effectiveness and happiness in the workplace. Workshops are research-based, practical and adapted to each individual context. I demonstrate, by making small tweaks, we can be highly effective in our work and enjoy a healthy work-life balance. Every member of the team has the ability to take control of the factors which affect workplace wellbeing.

Examples of My Work
The following are not session recordings, they provide an insight into the training provided.
Emma's Wellbeing session for School Business Leaders was the most popular event of 2021. Emma's ability to truly empathise and understand the challenges that we face, and to offer practical and tangible solutions to self-care and our own wellbeing, was exceptional. We will carry Emma's expert advice and practical humanity with us, as tools and touchstones, as we walk through challenging times.
Hilary Goldsmith, School Business Leader
I found the talk on wellbeing and self-care by Dr Emma Kell truly excellent. I really can’t praise it enough since I believe it to be the best INSET talk I have ever experienced. It was engaging, informative and genuinely insightful. I was so impressed I am intending to purchase her books.
Teacher, Richard Challoner School
Emma’s warmth, wisdom and insight really resonated with all staff. Emma truly ‘gets it’.
Hannah Mitchem, Deputy Headteacher, Townley Grammar School
Best session on wellbeing I’ve been to.
Development Lead, Teach First
An interesting session – real examples, real people, up-front and honest.
Trainee teacher
Emma’s facilitation style is always warm and genuine and leaves our cohort feeling positive and reconnected with their purpose and mission. She speaks with passion, expertise and much-needed realism around teacher wellbeing.
